Project Title: RED Hat One 2025 - APAC

Agency: AMC Asia!

The Ask:

Our client, AMC Asia!, needed motion design support for Red Hat One’s annual global event in the APAC region.

The goal was to create animated backgrounds that enhanced the stage experience and complemented key moments during the live show.

The visuals were required for two large side screens (Screen 1 & Screen 2), placed on the left and right walls of the venue.

Screen dimensions: 3200px × 1536px

The Idea:

To reflect the uniqueness of each region, we anchored our designs around cultural icons and landmarks that represent each country’s identity.

The visuals needed to feel dynamic and in sync with the energy of the performances, while staying clean and balanced to avoid distracting the audience from the show itself.

The Execution:

There were four groups from the APAC region: China (GNC), India, Australia & New Zealand (ANZ), and Southeast Asia + Korea (SEAK).

To help the audience easily identify who was performing on stage, we created a motion title for each group.

Each title came with a unique design that highlighted the beauty of its cultural identity.

APAC Leadership Team Performance - Catwalk

The APAC leadership team hit the stage with a catwalk performance set to "I’m Too Sexy" by Right Said Fred — a track full of funky, over-the-top energy.

That playful vibe inspired us to lean into a bold, retro disco-funk look for the visuals.

We embraced bright, punchy colours and rhythmic motion to bring out the excitement, while making sure the overall design stayed supportive of the performance — not competing with it.

Dance floor

This motion background set the mood for a free-and-easy dance floor session. We designed it to energize the space and get the crowd in the groove.
