The Ask:

Red Hat One is having it's annual global event and the agency was engaged to help plan for the APAC region.

We were engaged as motion artists to work on motion backgrounds to complement the client's performances on stage.

The motion backgrounds will be played on screens at left and right walls - Screen 1 & 2.

ITA Red Hat One 2025 Content Creation Guide.marked

The Idea:

As the visuals will have to highlight the individuality of each region/country, we look into the cultural icons or landmark as an anchor for the design.

The visuals has to look exciting, in sync with the vibe of the performances, but it cannot be too busy as it will distract audience's attention from the performance itself.

The Execution:

There are in total 4 groups from the APAC region; China (GNC), India, Australia & New Zealand (ANZ) and South East Asian countries + Korea (SEAK).

As each group is performing on stage, we created a motion title which audience could easily find out which group is currently performing on stage.

Each motion title is accompanied with a unique design which calls out the beauty of it's cultural identity.

APAC Leadership Team Performance - Catwalk

The catwalk has a playback of "I'm too sexy" by Right Freud Said, which has a funky and hilarious tone. This inspires us to go over the top on the visuals to call back to the retro disco funk vibe.

As with the previous treatment, even though we have bright and striking colours on the motion background, we were careful to not have complicated designs which would distract the audience from the stage.

Dance floor

This motion background is for a free and easy dance floor session, and we make sure our motion design are to bring up the energy and make it fun for the audience to enjoy.
