【第17届花踪文学奖入围影片】
这是我们继参与第14和第16届入围影片制作后的又一次创作。这次，我们做出了更大的尝试，设计初步构思只有一句话：Paper Cutout（剪纸拼贴）。

通过剪纸拼贴，我们将所有天马行空、充满童趣的想法结合起来，尽可能突破“保守”又不失华丽的范本。

其中最大的挑战是作者们提供了各式各样的照片文件。为了将它们融入设计，我们进行了特别的装饰。当动画在典礼上播出时，除了掌声外，我们还听到了观众的笑声，达到了我们想要的趣味效果。

[The 17th Sin Chew Hua Zong Literature Award Finalist Video]

Here’s our latest motion design for Sin Chew Hua Zong Literature Award ever since 14th and 16th Sin Chew Hua Zong Literature Awards.

This time, we venture into a whole new territory, starting with just a simple concept: “Paper Cutout” (Collage).

We’ve combined whimsical, out-of-the-world ideas using paper collage, creating a visual experience which pushes the typical boundaries of “literature art” while maintaining elegance.

The collage style allowed us to convey abstract ideas of the amazing literature works.

One of the biggest challenges was to intergrate the variety of photos, provided by the authors, into a single art style.

With the paper collage art style, we are able to incorporate the elements into our design by stylizing the photos we got from the authors.

As the animation being played on the screen during the awards ceremony, it was well received with a round of applause and laughter, achieving the playful and fun tone we’ve envisioned all along.

灵感 Inspiration

灯泡作为灵感的比喻，暗示着创造力可以打破既定的规范，带来革命性的思维或突破。

一只猫与老鹰，但它们在食物链中的位置发生了颠倒。象征着创造力如何能够颠覆预期，挑战自然的等级或常规。

The metaphor of a lightbulb representing inspiration suggests that creativity can defy established norms, leading to revolutionary thinking or breakthroughs.

A Cat and Eagles but with a twist in their position in the food chain respectively. Symbolizing how creativity can subvert expectations and challenge natural hierarchies or conventions。

[小说奖 Novel Award] 

天马行空 Out of mind

作者的头脑有很多天马行空的想法，多到即将爆发出来。

表现了作者无限的创造力和想象力，暗示着独特且富有远见的构思即将喷涌而出。

An expanding head with imaginative elements to show the creative mind of the author.

Captures the overflowing creativity and boundless imagination of the author, suggesting an imminent outpouring of unique and visionary concepts.

[童诗奖 Children's Poetry Award] 

绘本 Children's Picture Book

设计师利用他最喜欢的绘本风格创作出森林探索与湖畔夜光的场景。

唤起了怀旧和奇幻的感觉，将插画的魅力与自然风光相结合，捕捉夜间探险和宁静风景的魔力。

We incorporated our favorite picture-book style, creating an enchanted forest and a luminous lakeside scene.

Evokes a sense of nostalgia and wonder, blending the charm of illustration with natural scenery to capture the magic of nighttime adventures and serene landscapes.

[新诗奖 Modern Poetry Award] 

幻境 Wonderland

用混合虚实的画面来比喻“诗情画意”，这可以通过将现实和想象融合在一起。比如，芭蕾舞裙可以被想象成蘑菇的形状，优雅地漂浮在森林中；而梵高的夜空中，星星的旋转流动间会突然出现飞碟，打破了原有的宁静与常规。

这种手法打破了现实与幻想的界限，创造出富有想象力和艺术感的图景，正如诗歌和画作中的意境，让人沉浸于无限的遐想中。

Using a blend of reality and fantasy to symbolize "poetic imagery" involves merging the real with the imagined. For example, a ballerina's tutu can be envisioned as a mushroom, gracefully floating in a forest, while in Van Gogh’s starry night, UFOs suddenly appear amidst the swirling stars, breaking the tranquility and convention.

This approach blurs the line between reality and imagination, creating a scene rich in creativity and artistry, much like the mood found in poetry and paintings, inviting people into a realm of endless imagination.

人类最初是通过眼睛观察记录下所见，而现代记录的方式来自于相机（单眼）。

这种画面将视觉与相机捕捉的过程联系起来，展现出一种戏剧性的、近乎魔幻的方式，暗示着媒体和摄影如何框定并揭示现实，将人类的感知与摄影结合在一起。

Humans recorded what they saw with their eyes, and the method of recording came from the camera (a word play of “single eye”, the chinese term for a Single-Reflex Camera). 

This imagery connects the act of seeing and capturing through a camera with a dramatic, almost magical representation of how media and photography can frame and reveal reality, blending human perception with the art of photograph

[马华文学大奖 Malaysian Chinese Literature Award] 

成长 Growth

一个女孩利用各种方式写出了像双峰塔或默迪卡118一样高的书籍。

这种画面象征着雄心和创造力达到极高的境界，寓意通过努力和想象力可以在文学或个人成长上取得如同高塔般的成就。

The girl uses various methods to write books as tall as the Petronas Towers or Merdeka 118.

This imagery evokes the idea of ambition and creativity reaching great heights, symbolizing how dedication and imagination can lead to towering achievements in literature or personal growth.

入围影片截取了原著中的元素，并与入围者的照片相结合。

这展现了将原作叙事元素与视觉表现相融合的创作过程，通过加入入围者的形象，赋予作品独特的表现方式。

The shortlisted films extract elements from the original works and combine them with photos of the nominees.

This highlights the creative process of blending original narrative elements with visual representations, adding a unique touch by integrating the presence of the nominees.
